About Me

Thank you for your interest in my Photography page.

My name is Kim, and I am the owner of Nelly Photography CT. I reside in Newington, CT. with my husband, two beautiful children and two bratty fur babies. In my free time you can find me capturing photos of nature, traveling, listening to music, dancing, galivanting and most important, hanging out with friends and family.

Unlike other photographers out there, photography was not my passion or first love. I was a full-time dance teacher for many years. I, unfortunately got struck with a spinal cord disease and it left me without dance. I struggled to find something to replace my creative side for years after that. During COVID, I picked up my first camera and instantly fell head over heals! I was alive again and taught myself all that I know about photography. I will continue to learn, grow and embrace this new, special love I have found.
